Was not sure about Spanish sushi bar? But it was excellent! And the Brazilian dish was so good!

Cool Colombian restaurant with a huge array of mountainous sized plates. My hubby is Colombian and he wanted to make sure that my parents had tried Colombian food. Both of my parents chose the typical Bandeja Paisa so they could try everything. It included Frijoles, arroz, carne asada, chicharrón, huevo frito, maduro - Beans, Rice, Steak, Fried Pork Rinds, Fried Egg, and Fried Sweet Plantains. Of course their favorite out of all this were the steak and Fried Pork Rinds. They loved it, and thought it was so flavorful. We also ordered the Churrasco and the Carne Asada. I liked the Carne Asada better just because it was thinner, and it was actually juicer for me than the Churrasco. Both had wonderful flavor that you may not find very often at restaurants. What I thought was quite different about this restaurant is that they also had some latin fusion sushi. We ordered the Paulista which was a recommendation by our waitress. It was sooo good. Check out the picture I posted for it because I do forget what all was included. The service is great, but if you do not speak Spanish, it can be quite challenging. We sat outside since we wanted to take in the fresh air, and we had our little dog with us. It was a perfect spot. The inside is quite nice as well. Don't forget to check out their bakery inside with all of their latin baked goods, and do not forget to check out their meat market and grocery store next door. We picked up a bunch of Colombian sweets. Everything is great here, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Good Columbian food. Stick to their national dishes, i.e. don't order Brazilian food or margaritas. (Margaritas were made from a mix.) Good homemade desserts. Large portion sizes. Service was OK but not outstanding.

Food was good, but it took us longer to get our check and pay than it did to order and eat. Being that we were on lunch break, it made us late back to the office. Next time we won't going for lunch, maybe when we have more time.

I'm a big ceviche fan, and it's really good here! I come to this place whenever in the area, and food is really really good!! Staff is very friendly! Definitely recommend!

Great steaks, juicy and tasty. Many things on the menu including incredible sushi. Ask waiters for explanation of dishes. They are super helpful. Yeli served us today. Great service. Live music tonight...a win-win

Food is great and so is service when you go to the restaurant. The thing that I did not like was when I did an order for pick up. Menu is not updated. Had to change almost all my order which really was annoying since I literally only had time to pass by and pick up. I believe they should have just made my original order that I obtained from their online menu.

Amazing food! The picanha is delicious!!! Their service is great. Our server was very attentive and we didn't have to wait too long to get our food. I'll definitely be coming back to Latinos.

I love this place! Def a hidden gem for spanish food... I love that they have different spanish food under one roof... For example you can have some Peruvian Lomo and some Colombian bandeja paisa.. The place is really big and They also have a nice Bar area.. And totally random but a plus is they also have a sushi bar..... Haven't had their sushi but every time I go I see people eating sushi! It's a great place to bring a big group of friends because there is something for everyone ... I also love their fruit shakes mango/passion fruit. In the restaurant they have a little bakery display where you can buy some fresh baked bread and desserts. The staff is always very nice and attentive! They also have some outside seating. Affordable prices and great portions! Can't say enough good things. Also Kid friendly!

This time was just as good as the first! We had an excellent server who was very attentive and the food was very good. This time I had the bandeja paisa which was a ton of food. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Some of the food was really great, some of it was just ok. They have a pretty big menu with a wide range of options. You can order Sushi...or you can order Peruvian food. Literally all over the place. We had a huge group of people and they were able to make it work, a little slower than normal but no real mistakes. We had a number of orders of ceviche which was very good. The plantains were tasty as well. The papa huanician was just ok. We had a few other dishes, but overall a good place to go.

Great food. The service is lacking a bit though. We got our ceviche at the very end after we were done with entrees. Someone was also celebrating a birthday there, so the music was blasting at a maximum volume... the steaks were awesome though. will plan to stop by next time we are in the area!!!

Heard great reviews about Latinos and had to try it for myself. I must say that this place was magical. The vibe was great, live music being played and people dancing. Wasn't over crowded. The food was nothing like what I expected it to be. We picked the arroz de marisco and the Paulista sushi....both were amazing and filled with flavor and the right amount of seasoning. Every bite was great and made me want more. The dessert options were good as well and again made my mouth water. They bring you the dessert options to your table and you get to pick which one you want. Overall great for date night, family night, salsa dancing and just an overall good time. Will definetly be going back.

Absolutely horrible! If you are looking for Brazilian food, look elsewhere! Go to Oba Oba or Picanhas. This place is another disgrace of some other Latin country doing a poor job of trying to cook the great Brazilian food. My cheese bread (pao de queijo) came with an egg shell, the linguica was more like a salsichon and worst of all, no one seems to speak a word of English! I know I am at a place called Latinos and in South FL, but not even know numbers 1-10 in English is ridiculous!

  • Alain D.

The food was very good, and william did a great job taking care of us. We had the churrasco and bistec a caballo. The sweet plantains were excellent as was the dulce de leche . I found the pina coladas with no alcohol to be very expensive.

  • Tess W.

Ambiance staff and food are awesome. I had the colombian soup and my friend had the steak they were both very tasty, big portions for the price. I had the beef and potatoe empanada.as well was tasty

if no star was an option, that is what I would pic! Went in the restaurant in the afternoon to buy pastries, but had to use the restroom first. a few guys were drinking at the bar, and one of them looked at me. He followed me to the bathroom and took a picture of me wille peeing. REALLY? MF! ran right after him and yelled at him. he was either the owner of the restaurant or the GM at the time. after yelling at him and saying that I already call the cops, he went inside (probably to delete the picture he took). Cops came, checked his phone, picture was not there, made a police report, and that was all they could do! I keep wondering with how many other girls the nasty pig did the same thing with! never showed my face in that restaurant ever again otherwise I would punch his nasty face!

We came in for the great latin food but our server Chris talked up the sushi so vividly, that we had no choice but to try it. The best sushi we have had in south Florida. The service, food, atmosphere, and dessert was amazing! Thank you Chris for the great service and recommendations, we'll be sure to see you again very soon!

The first thing I have to say is that I have eaten Sushi in Japan when I lived their and this place needs to change its name because the Sushi was excellent. Great staff (I was their early) and good environment. I only wished that this place was closer to my home. Try the Beauty & The Beast

Best steak meal in town! $35-$40 for four pieces of delicious steak, rice, beans, salad and 2 sides! Love this place! Great service and ambiance. They have also added sushi to their menu, which I defiantly have to try next time! Happy hour deals are also a bargain! This would be a great place to watch a soccer game! GOOOALLL!!! Don't be fooled by the outside appearance! Hidden gem!

If you've never tried this restaurant you're missing a local gem! You don't have to be latino to love the great service, the delicious food, and the reasonable prices. The owner, Wilson, takes great pride in making your meal a pleasure. The menu is large and varied so there's something for everyone from ceviche to chicken to steak. We ordered the steak with yucca fries, red beans and rice and the home-made margaritas. 2 steaks per person were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. Youll want to eat every bite, but save room for desert. They make the most amazing, rich chocolate-caramel-sort of -mousse ever! A chocolate lover's "must"! We also tried their sushi on the passionate recommendation of our waiter, Chris. (I was REALLY afraid to order sushi at a South-American restaurant - but since one of their chefs had been a sushi chef in Boca I decided to be brave.) I ordered a roll that had tempura shrimp, avocado, and a number of other ingredients with the most delicious sauce. Honestly, it was enormous and outstanding. I'm going back just for that! Everyone in our party will be going back - SOON!

All kinds of Hispanic food from Brazil, Colombia, Perú, Cuba and Argentina!!!!!! They have a great bakery and full bar! The staff is engaging and soccer or music is always TV and speakers! Not too expensive!

Yay! I get to update my review to a positive one... Had missed coming here. Latin food, so close to work It was perfect but sadly hadn't been able to because of how bad the previous management, staff, and my experience the last few times there were. Heard they were under new administration and finally decided to give them a chance. What a difference! Staff was friendly, quick, attentive and professional. In less than 2 minutes there was someone taking my order and preparing it "to go" immediately. I had the Colombian empanadas (a favorite of mine) and must say they are better in flavor and with more meat and potato filling than before, and they were generous with the aji sauce (makes the empanada even more delicious). The chicharron actually has meat on it, instead of just fat. The restaurant looks cleaner, they even added more freshly baked breads, pastries and desserts. Unfortunately the lady forgot to include one of the things I ordered in my bag so for that, and until I see that this change is real and there to stay, I had to reserve one star but, I have a feeling they'll earn it soon!

Overpriced, poor service, marginal food, decent ambience. I ordered the extra spicy ceviche appetizer which was tough and bland. The fried plantains were delicious, but couldn't overcome the tough cuts of meat. The atmosphere was good, with a decent crowd for a Wednesday night. Overall, the experience was disappointing. I suspect that the fact that the bartender was waiting tables indicated that they were understaffed that night. I was mostly forgotten throughout the dinner, even after asking for assistance.

We were visiting here from Memphis, and stopped by for dinner last night. The food and service was great. We also got a free dessert-Flan which was delicious. We were very impressed by the environment which was classy, and a variety in the menu with English translation and close to the beach. We will definitely stop by the next time we are in Ft. Lauderdale. Thanks David, we really enjoyed dinner.

Great food for great price. I decided to go to the cafe and just get takeout rather than dine in. It does help if you speak a little Spanish, but if not, just point to what looks good. We tried one of each of the empanada de pollo (chicken) and empanada de queso (cheese) -- empanadas are small fried fold overs with different stuffings. They were okay, as well as the maduros (fried sweet plantains). We also tried the coxinha (a fried cone-shaped pastry with chopped up chicken inside)-- definitely try this, I thought it was very tasty and will get it again instead of the empanadas. And, do not miss the Quatro Leche. If you like Tres Leche (sponge cake with 3 types of milk) try this one. It has a thick and yummy caramel on top, which is probably a cooked sweetened milk. I'm addicted.

Great ambiance, and good food at a decent price. The Mondonguito changed my mind about Colombian mondongo. I guess the last time I had Colombian mondongo the restaurant didn't know what they were doing. This place got it right!

I was craving "comida hispana" and decided to try this place. What a surprise the food was great, staff very friendly and everything was nice & neat. Don't get scared because of the area the food it's worth it.

Came here for my birthday and Mother's Day! Once again this great neighborhood place never disappoints . Sushi and Latin food what a great combination ! Drinks very well priced and u get a buzz! Singer is very talented and engaging . Come and experience some fun great food great prices and the service is on point . They never rush you so u can enjoy a nice nite . A Latin supper club is how it feels on Friday and Saturday nights. The manager David is always making sure everything is up to par .

I have been a regular of this place for about 7 years, I actually go to their market and butchery for some BBQ goodness! Their restaurant is awesome! I go there on Saturday night for some salsa dancing! And Sunday back for some hangover cure arepa with carne asada, yum!

Ordered "churrasco" steak for lunch...poor choice. Steak was more like a sirloin with lots of fat attached. First time visit...and last.

  • Liz A.

I like the wide selection of latin foods available, but the food is not drop your jaw impressive...its just ok. My last time going here was with my husband over a month ago. We ordered the arroz de mariscos and when we got our plate, my husband felt insulted when he found only 1 shrimp. Should have been called Arroz con un marisco lol. For a plate that is priced at almost $20 this definitely did not meet our expectations. The plate was not representative of what it should be and after that, we don't plan on going back as we feel this place is way overpriced for what they serve.

    (2)
  • Brad R.

More bar less restaurant. Food was plain and had very little if any spice. If you just want overly tough meat or a drink then this is your place.

I love this place! Great food, huge portions and I'm insanely I love with the green sauce! I smother and cover everything in it!

  • Andy C.

I had a great dinner. Steak with some nice Tostones. Fun atmosphere with plenty of room for dancing. Looks great for lunch too. They has a sushi bar as well. The food seemed very fresh as they own the grocery/meat store adjacent to the restaurant. Not white table cloth. More like a sports bar. Solid, fresh cuban food. I gave it four stars as they were very welcoming and friendly.

This place is perfect on a budget. We order Punta de Anca para dos (for two) medium well $28.99 and its so satisfying and juicy. As appetizers we get Colombian Empanadas so yummy. The Mojarra Entera 16.99 here is also delicious. Also you cant go wrong with a Bandeja Paisa either. Everything is delicious here. Just come with time bcs they are understaff at the moment so you can be here for a while.

Yummy bandeja paisa... Really delicious food for a great price. Come hungry, or you may not be able to finish your plate! Will definitely miss this place...

    (5)
  • John B.

I finally had the opportunity to try the Sancocho de Costilla, which they always seemed to run out of before I got there. All that waiting for nothing! It was a poor rendition of the Colombian soup, loaded with MSG and with not much in the way of ribs--one medium and one small one. I'll stick with the Mondongo, which is always good. There are many other good things on the menu, and the food and preparation are generally above average.

Stopped in for take out, nice place, went to bakery to place our order, the lady in the bakery could not of been more friendly and helpful. The bakery alone would make you come back, I couldn't help but get some cookies to go, yum! Food is full of flavor, the only thing I could not love were the black beans, dare I say they may have been from a can? Can't go wrong here I will be back. Oh they have a nice market next door where they make their own sausage. Oh, and some bread would have been a bonus to this meal, I love Cuban bread. Give Latinos a try!

  • Tanya L.

I think it is about that time to give you a little update! Soooo.. I have been coming here more often and I have to say it is never a disappointment. The food is amazing. I am still obsessed with the empanadas de carne (Colombian empanadas). The bandeja paisa is still my first choice every time I am there. It always fills me up and keeps me happy! Something new that I have tried is one of their specialty drinks. Mango con leche. It is basically a milk shake with mango instead of bananas. I have taken several coworkers here and they also fall in love with the drink. I have also tried the coladas!! Helps me stay awake at work after having such a big meal! Overall if you have not been here you are definitely missing out on delicious food! Service is great and everyone is super friendly! Love this place!

  • Diego P.

The food, mediocre! The service, terrible! The owner, a disaster!!!! I would never step foot back into this restaurant! Our food had a fly in it, which could happen at any restaurant, but the nerve of this disabled owner to still want u charge us for the entire meal even after we complained and did not even take one bite, unbelievable!! Long story short, the cops were called and they resolved the issue... Truthfully, this place deserved -5 stars!!

    (1)
  • Joseph W.

BLUF: A mostly Brazilian staff serve Latin food in a restaurant attached to a grocery store. If you like Carne Asada, or Chimichurri, come try it here. Otherwise, come try the Latin Hair place next door, where they actually know how to do my lady-friend's hair.

    (4)
  • Jessi T.

SO GOOD! This place is well priced and they have food from practically every Latin/Spanish country. I love the layout of the restaurant. The ambiance is casual, friendly and open. The tables are big and spacious in order to fit the massive amounts of food they give you. Seriously... they give you SO much food and it is an absolute deal for how much food you get for what you pay. This is definitely my Latin restaurant of choice in this area. I tried this place on a whim and a gamble and won! You should too!

    (5)
  • Jack D.

I've been to Latinos many times, and it's ok but I've seen better, the food is ok and it's very very expensive. The staff are very friendly and make friends with the costumers immediately. Don't really recommend this highly to people.

    (2)
  • Pedro D.

This place is a little tricky to get to. Went with some friends who recommended the place. The "Pollo Saltado" was really good. The service is good but sometimes slow. I would definitively come back to try something else.

Why 5 stars? The food is very good, but for the price you pay, it is AMAZING! Check it out!

  • Rich S.

My wife, mother and I had a good dinner on 10/25/2011. The food was ok and the ambiance was fine. I was less than impressed with the restaurant manager/owner when an honest miscommunication between my self and the waitress resulted in the wrong dish being sent to my table. This waitress worked the entire floor alone with little if any help. We were saddened when we found out that our waitress would have to PAY for this mistake out of her own pocket. I ended of paying for the dish and gave her an extra 25 dollars+ tip for the managers brutish attitude that the waitress pay from her hard earned, and marginal paycheck. The manager was rude and disrespectful to both me, my family and the waitress when questioned. We really found his attitiude rather dreadful and downright smug. This left me with a bad taste. A restaurant is more than a meal. Intimidation and the stealing of a worker's hard earned money never sits well with most people of conscience.

    (2)
  • Ana Z.

First things first, the food that comes out of this kitchen is great! But this restaurant doesn't deserve more stars because frankly their staff is so rude and inattentive to their tables. And on top of that, half of the stuff on the menu is not available! After my fourth visit with rude waitresses and unavailable items I decided to never come back!

Latino's Restaurant is owned by the same people as the grocery store next door. I've been coming to both for many years and witnessed the several modifications and upgrades over time. Thankfully, it's safe to say that this is the best shape in which they've ever been. They have food from all over South America and you can't really go wrong with anything. The place isn't fancy at all--it's a very simple restaurant that serves delicious comfort food, the epitome of latin cuisine. Last time I came here, I had the beef milanesa which is fried, breaded steak. It came with a side of rice, beans, and french fries-- the perfect combination. You'll definitely feel a little lazy after you eat all this food so beware! (You might even have some leftovers.) The workers are kind and welcoming and it's a great place to go for a quick lunch between classes or work.

    (4)
  • Fernando D.

Very good food and the services was great as well! I would definitely recommend it to everybody.

  • Brian M.

wow the food is great with large portions.yesterday we where there and we order the food then notice my daughter was running a very high fever so once the food came out the staff help us put the order in to go boxs and and rang up or check very quickly so that we could leave ..the staff was very helpfull...the iside is decorated very nice and theres a stage for live music the only thing i didnt like is that theres about 10 tables outside and it kindda hard to get to the door.so as we where leaving im thinking if needed theres no way paramedics could get a streacher in to the resturant without moveing tables and it seemed to be a hazard

  • Kolbos C.

To be honest , I am a fan of this restaurant because I go to eat here way too often...But at times the service can be lacking and that's why the 3 stars. The food at Latino's is just too good. They have increased their prices recently but still every time I come here its decently packed and the quantity of food is huge...The restaurant has a bar, a cafe area, nice cozy booths, a dance floor, and also a Latin market on the side. Great ambiance, lovely servers, the manager or owner is always at the door to greet and seat u and also sometimes comes to the table to give his inputs on food and to make sure everything is fine. My favorite dish here is the Bandeja Paisa, the seafood soup, and the other soup bowls they have as special on the weekends. Sometimes the dishes do take a while to come out, but believe me the food is so good, that the wait is worth it. Almost most of the South American countries are well represented in the menu, the bar is also well stocked although i generally have a drink with beer and soda called Refajo which is perfect with some of the hot Latin food. Overall Latino's is a perfectly great ethnic restaurant. So if you are in Boca Raton, Hillsboro or the Deerfield beach area or you are traveling through I -95 , stop by here to taste some good authentic Peruvian, Colombian, or Brazilian food. Just a reminder that they do add a 15% gratuity on the bill, but that's mainly because of the large volume of international clients they have.

    (3)
  • Frances M.

they have really slow service. the food was good but i suggest that you go with someone that speaks Spanish because the servers do not no much English. it is a great place to go for Hispanic food since it is the only place in town.

I have lived by this restaurant for so long and never once thought of going in. Once yelp recommended I try it out, we went!! I am so happy we went!!! Do not judge a book my its cover! The inside was so much nicer than I expected. Just for coming in they gave the ladies a free cocktail! The food was great!! And the atmosphere was fun! We didn't stay late enough but if you stay they have live DJs and Bands! We will definitely be back!! Oh and if you check in, you get a free dessert! Thanks!!

  • Hector R.

The food here is ok. But the experience is terrible. The service just plainly sucks. In person, over the phone, it's just terrible. They give you a hard time over ordering your food, give you a terrible look when you decide not to tip when you're coming by to pick up your own food, and will even get into a fight with you over choosing what sides you have on your meal, even though you've done it before. Oh and can't forget about the flies stuck inside the pastry glass panels going all over the pastries they have in there for god only knows how long. Tried it multiple times to give it a chance. Not happening anymore.

Just writing this review got me hungry!!! In the mornings ask for Vivian or Tayná they are the best baristas!!!!

Meh. Mediocre food, strange atmosphere, lackluster service and WAAAAAY overpriced for what it is. We stopped in on the way from Orlando with my mom, and I honestly regret having come here. My poor mother ordered a shrimp soup, having been lured in by the 'soup of the day' that was apparently no longer available. The gentleman that served us failed to inform my mother that A) the shrimp soup was spicy and B) that the soup was $15 MORE than the soup of the day advertised at the door. My mother, unlike me, does not enjoy spicy food whatsoever. It bothers her stomach (I must have inherited my father's digestive system, since I like it as spicy as I can get it) and so as soon as her soup arrived at the table and she took one spoonful, she realized that she would not be able to consume the soup. When we asked the waiter to change it, she just wanted to change it for something simple so that it would be sure not to bother her stomach. A simple order of yucca maybe. He suggested some garlic shrimp dish served with yucca. She agreed, unsure. THEN a manager comes over to tell us he is having a special seafood soup, which would not be spicy, made just for her. OK... Meanwhile, our empanadas and arepa arrive. Meh. They weren't bad, but they weren't anything to write home about either. At least they were cheap. 15 minutes later, my mother decided she just wanted to go home, so she told them they could pack the soup up instead of bring it to the table since it wasn't ready yet. OK...they bring the soup to go and the bill...and therein lies the rub! No wonder they didn't want to change her order to something simple. They charged almost $20 for the soup!!!! Since our empanadas and arepa and juice would have been such a low bill if she just ordered yucca, the waiter must not have wanted to lose money by returning the soup. We paid, deciding that we would never return. Then, my mother became worried that they spit in the soup...so she never ate it when we got home! (I know, she gets a little paranoid...but I guess you never know) All in all, disappointing.

We stopped in her to grab something to eat because one of our friend was hungry. She always passed by here but never been here. I'm GLAD that i came here with her. Checking-In got me a free desert! I decided to get the Flan. I'm not a fan of flan, but there flan is awesome!! I also order some empanadas, and they were stuffed with meat! Our waiter delivered great service, i would definitely come here again if I'm in the neighborhood.

Great place love the way it's set up inside decorated wise. Plenty of TVs to watch the wold World Cup. Started off with the empanadas they were really delicious. I ordered the bandeja paisa with a mango shake and my friend got the special I forgot what the special was. It took no longer than 4 minutes to get served our food Wow!! that was extremely fast service loving it. I had this typical dish in numerous amount of times in other restaurants this dish has a lot of components its extremely big I usually just have a super light breakfast just so I could finish this meal. extremely yummy everything was delicious aswell a chocolate mousse for dessert compliments of the yelp checkin yummy. The only thing I would have to complain about is knowing that the meat is cut thin it was served a little dry but damn four minutes to be served I got to give that 5 stars.

Good Columbian food. Stick to their national dishes, i.e. don't order Brazilian food or margaritas. (Margaritas were made from a mix.) Good homemade desserts. Large portion sizes. Service was OK but not outstanding.

Also Kid friendly!

if no star was an option, that is what I would pic!

Thanks!!

BLUF: A mostly Brazilian staff serve Latin food in a restaurant attached to a grocery store. If you like Carne Asada, or Chimichurri, come try it here. Otherwise, come try the Latin Hair place next door, where they actually know how to do my lady-friend's hair.

  • Jessi T.

  • Jack D.

I've been to Latinos many times, and it's ok but I've seen better, the food is ok and it's very very expensive. The staff are very friendly and make friends with the costumers immediately. Don't really recommend this highly to people.

(You might even have some leftovers.) The workers are kind and welcoming and it's a great place to go for a quick lunch between classes or work.

wow the food is great with large portions.yesterday we where there and we order the food then notice my daughter was running a very high fever so once the food came out the staff help us put the order in to go boxs and and rang up or check very quickly so that we could leave ..the staff was very helpfull...the iside is decorated very nice and theres a stage for live music the only thing i didnt like is that theres about 10 tables outside and it kindda hard to get to the door.so as we where leaving im thinking if needed theres no way paramedics could get a streacher in to the resturant without moveing tables and it seemed to be a hazard

Just a reminder that they do add a 15% gratuity on the bill, but that's mainly because of the large volume of international clients they have.

they have really slow service. the food was good but i suggest that you go with someone that speaks Spanish because the servers do not no much English. it is a great place to go for Hispanic food since it is the only place in town.

Food was good, but it took us longer to get our check and pay than it did to order and eat. Being that we were on lunch break, it made us late back to the office. Next time we won't going for lunch, maybe when we have more time.

The food was very good, and william did a great job taking care of us. We had the churrasco and bistec a caballo. The sweet plantains were excellent as was the dulce de leche . I found the pina coladas with no alcohol to be very expensive.
